a few months ago michael told mikayla that she was the prettiest girl in the world. mikayla replied that mommy (meaning me) was the prettiest mommy in the world. pretty sweet, huh. she went on to inform me that when she was a mommy she would then be the prettiest mommy and i would be the prettiest grandmother. still sweet. she elaborated further that when she was a grandmother she would be the prettiest and i would be the prettiest girl in heaven. still thinking it's sweet. but then she tells me that once she is in heaven she will be the prettiest girl in heaven and i no longer will be. ouch!

- i am incredibly blessed with an amazing husband - the kind that takes on the chores i despise, makes me laugh like no one else can, & who is an incredible father. i am the mother to 3 amazing children. mikayla is generous & loving & can often be found with a book in her hand. she runs fast like her daddy & loves to dance like me. she is an aggressive soccer player & a creative artist. mt is hilarious & def all boy. when he laughs really good it is a deep growl & always cracks me up. he currently is obsessed with star wars, the avengers, & anna (his babysitter). mt is an encourager - he is always telling me how beautiful i am & telling mikayla good job (he tells michael he is the best wrestler). on march 13th, 2014 we welcomed miles jude into our family. born over a month early he has done amazingly well. jude's high-risk pregnancy status was stepped up a notch when it was discovered he had a varix cyst midway through the pregnancy. babies with this type of cyst are at a high risk of stillbirth and down syndrome. we were thrilled to safely deliver jude & can't wait to see more & more of his personality emerge over the coming months and years.

you no, i remember having the same conversation with dad. lol. i love this, whitt! i think you're such a great and fun mom...and i will even throw in there a little crazy. this is the first one i have looked at but i am about to catch up right now. i just realized that if i want to post stories or anything about your kids, i am going to have to start immediately writing it down because of my "dialysis memory." i know that day we hung out a lot of stuff happened but i can't remember! very frustrating.

ReplyDeletehahah i just read about mt's serious addiction to gum...no comment except i will continue doing anything for that boy as long as he keeps giving me "squeezes." that is including caring his big headed self around even if i pass out.

yes you will need to take notes for sure until you can post on here because some pretty funny stuff transpires between you and my little ones. and you know you do freak me out how much you carry him around!
